About this Image

Otozoum footprints are distinct from other tracks found in the Connecticut River Valley in that the hind foot has 4 toes. They are associated with a two legged, plant eating prosauropod dinosaur, similar to Anchisaurus. Edward Hitchcock envisioned the track maker as looking like a giant frog or salamander nearly the size of an elephant.
