Lydia Mackenzie Falconer Miller

1812 - 1876

Lydia Mackenzie Falconer Miller was the wife of Scottish publisher-geologist Hugh Miller. She was a writer, producing literature for youth as well as adults. Like many geologists' wives, she produced landscape illustrations and geological cross-sections for her husband's scientific work. She finished and published her husband's works after he committed suicide, and helped to write his biography.
