Fungi selecti picti, Orra White Hitchcock

In the summer of 1821, Edward and Orra began collecting mushrooms that they found around their town of Conway, Massachusetts. Orra created watercolors of their collection at Edward’s request and compiled them into an album she titled Fungi selecti picti.
